You know the world is heading in a strange direction when you see yourself on Fox News. Believe or not, my viewers have reported to me that Fox News use clips of my commentary in a piece about the Obama birther issue. Is this the point where I should get paranoid about who's watching me?
Watch the video here...
Superhero Capes for Jobless
And when should I stop taking America seriously? How about when a Job Center starts having out superhero capes to the unemployed. Unfortunately, this happened in Orlando, Florida when some idiot thought it would be good public relations to spend 14,000 dollars to hand out 6,000 superhero capes to the unemployed. The PR stint included a goofy cartoon character called 'Dr. Evil Unemployment.' Supposedly, the jobless workers were to be uplifted by the gimmick and work to "vanquish" Dr. Evil Unemployment. If this isn't a "Let them eat cake" moment, then I would like to see Marie Antoinette do better. I can't figure out which is worse, the stupidity of the person who pitched the idea or the foolishness of the person who approved it. With $14,000, they could have bought young jobless workers ties, dress shoes and suits for a job interview.
They're Watching Us
Let's get back to the paranoia theme. The Wall Street Journal is now reporting that Apple and Google have been secretly gathering data about cellphone users. They have been gathering information about users locations from the Android smartphone. And you wonder why I don't like cellphones. Actually, I hate the idea of signing a contract. Read more...
Nevertheless, I'm seeing a disturbing trend in America. Police departments and the Department of Homeland Security are opening violating the U.S. Constitution. For example, Michigan State Police are using 'extraction devices' to illegally extract cellphone data (videos, photos, texts, etc) from motorist they pull over. And they're doing this without a warrant. Read more...
"The Michigan State Police later issued a statement saying that it only uses the data-extraction devices after obtaining a search warrant or consent from a cell phone's owner."
We'll see if this is true when the ACLU takes their asses to court. In the meanwhile, I wouldn't offer the police any access your information. I don't mind being on Fox News. I'm more disturbed by the fact that some many of my viewers were watching the channel in the first place. What offends my sensibilities is Google and Apple providing information about the location of its users in a manner that could be exploited by the federal government. If the federal government has people working inside of these organizations, then it could be using the companies as proxies in a domestic spy program. Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but it seems clear that state and federal governments have no problem violating our privacy rights. I should note that they is absoltuely no evidence that Google or Apple are being used by the government, but they should take action to address this concern.
Are you concerned about these trends?

For all of you anti-gunners who think that being unarmed and meek will save you, pay close attention to what I am about to say. Refusing to take action to protect your family may get you killed. Calling 911 is not going to stop some two-legged creature from shooting you in the head. Recently, a business man had an encounter with two thugs who broke into his home. One of them shot his girlfriend in the hand and it was all captured on the owner's surveillance footage.
Four suspects tried to enter the home. Two were successful before fleeing the scene. The home owner didn't run them away with a gun, but if this happened after a collapse, he would have been on his own.
This is just one of the latest examples of why you need to have some form of protection. Forget about your cultural preferences or your beliefs. Look at reality. If someone breaks into your house, you will have to wait at least five minutes for a law enforcement officer to arrive. That gives the criminal at least five minutes to harm you and leave. That's plenty of time. And the five minute response is under the best conditions.
Last year, Detroit cut its response time by 28% to a pathetic 24 minutes. A psychopath could rape you and your whole family in 24 minutes and still have time for a cup of tea. You need to understand that the police will not be able to get to your home in time to save you.
Even the best response times take about 10 minutes. In 2010, Denver Police Department had a response time of 11 minutes, Tucson, Ariz. had 10 minutes and 11 seconds, Kansas City, Mo. and Oklahoma City were a little under 10 minutes. In a collapse situation, not only would the police force be smaller, it would also be carrying a bigger work load. As a result, response time would increase.
Police departments and sheriff departments are cutting back across the nation. In Camden, New Jersey, the police department has seen a net loss 118 officers (and this is after they rehired some of the cops they laid off). The picture is clear...
High and prolonged unemployment + less cops + cut back in government services = more crime
If the entitlement system collapses, we'll have tens of millions of desperate people trying to feed and take care of their families. There are currently over 44 million people collecting food stamps in America. The average amount of food stamp money is already dropping, while the cost of food is rising. State and city governments are cutting services. If you think the federal government is going to ride in for the rescue, take a look at its books. We've looking at another $1.5 trillion dollar deficit for this year. In March, the federal government spent more than 8 times the amount of its revenue. The federal government is broke.
The federal Reserve has been propping up the system with money printing, but we're seeing the results of that foolishness at the grocery stores. Food prices aren't just rising, they're soaring.
Corn has doubled since 2009
The writing is on the wall whether you look at it or not. If you are worried about your kids finding your gun, take the necessary action to make sure that they don't touch your gun. Teach to respect the gun and explain to them exactly what it can do. I strongly encourage you to take action now. Buy a gun, acquire the ammo and learn how to use it. If you want a firearm for home defense, I highly recommend a pump action 12 GA shotgun. A pump action is highly-reliable and easy to use. 12 Ga is probably the most common gun round in America. Buy some buckshot and head to the gun range. I own a Mossberg 500, but a Remington 870 is just as good. If you don't like guns, ask yourself this: Am I going to put my pride before the safety of my family?

I am convinced that the economy is on the verge of its next phase of collapse. In 2008, Trends forecaster Gerald Celente's words of wisdom is one of the main reasons why I woke up and started to see how serious this economic situation was becoming. Celente has successfully forecasted the 1987 Stock Market Crash, the Collapse of 2008 and many other world-changing events. So when this man speaks, I listen very carefully. Celente recently released a weekly video report and I consider it to be required viewing for anyone who wants to be prepared by what's coming next.
"In my more than 30 years of trend forecasting, I've never been more overwhelmed nor more concerned than I am today. The United States, France and the UK have lead the world into the first great war of the 21st Century,"
Frankly, I think it's the most insightful three and half minutes that I've ever seen from Gerald. His stern warning, along with the escalating raise of food and gas prices, the continued weakening of the dollar against gold and silver (and real commodities), the mass firing of public employees (across the nation), the collapse of city governments, the devastating (but inevitable) crashes in state government revenue, the continued lost of full-time jobs, the growing population of (44 million+) food stamp participates, the depression in the housing market and expansion of the 1.5 trillion dollar record deficit has lead me to conclude that the U.S. economy is heading for a severe downturn this year.
Qualitative easing (dollar printing), stimulus packages and bailouts have clearly failed to stimulate this zombie economy. The government is out of tricks. I sincerely believe that the government's ability to deceive the masses will fade beginning this summer. This is why I'm buying a low end WASR 10/63 AK-47 instead of a fancy version.
Walmart CEO recently warned of serious inflation in the coming months. If I try to save for a fancier gun, the price may increase every month and put the gun out of reach. Even the WASR-10/63 will increase in price. Right now, I'm focusing on getting the damn rifle and some ammo. Practice a little and load up on more food and water.
If you don't know anything about prepping, please view my emergency video and it will get you started in the right direction. Please listen to me when I say it would be wise to be prepared by June. Even Michael Ruppert agrees that the collapse is imminent. I'll embed his latest video below.
"We have until July at the latest to prepare for complete economic pandemia along with the social unrest that has been building....Quarterly earnings reports are the foundation of how the stock market works....the one thing that can never be fudge...are quarterly earnings reports," Ruppert warns.
Essentially, Japanese companies are failing to provide key products for manufacturing across the world. GM, Toyota, German companies and industries across the world are being impacted. Many companies can not produce products because they can't get the electronics from Japan.
The earning reports being published in June and July will be impossible to manipulate. Ruppert warns that the world GDP will collapse. The market is over-leverage and Japan has killed growth across the world. Bottom line: the stock market will be in a world of trouble, the bailouts that were issued based on the assumption of growth will lead to an economic disaster.
I don't care if you agree with me on political matters. I don't care if you're a Republican, a Democrat, a liberal, a conservative, gay, straight, bi, Mexican, White, Black, Asian, whomever. Starting buying food and water, now! I don't think the world is coming to an end. I don't even know when the crisis will begin, but I'm going to make sure I'm ready by June.

Home values have fallen for six consecutive months, over 44 million Americans are on food stamps, the average weeks of unemployment is 37.1 and the fraudclosure crisis is only beginning. The situation is dire and there's a sense a desperation across the nation. Tens of thousands of fire fighter, cops, teachers and public employees are being laid off throughout the country.
Police departments are trying to bring in more revenue be requiring their officers to meet a quota for ticket issuing. They're trying to keep their jobs, but taxing the drivers more aggressively.
The housing market is in a depression. 60 Minutes' report on fraud crisis in the mortgage business is a must see. 60 Minutes profiled some of the tens of thousands of homeowners who waited days in long lines to attend a Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America conference in hopes of saving their homes. Many of these homeowners have lost their jobs, or have a spouse have has lost his or hers job. The NACA helps many of them get their mortgage adjusted, but over half are unable to keep their homes.
But here's the scariest part, not only are millions of Americans losing their homes, but the industry that sells them is almost complete corrupt. Remember when the housing market was red hot and the banks were throwing money at almost anyone who was rushing to buy a house? Well, when the banks were constructing their derivatives (mortgage-backed securities), they were so desperate to move the mortgage process that they didn't even bother to properly record the paper work.
Instead of filing the paper work with the county governments, many of these banks used an electronic system that wasn't approved by any government. The banks then created mortgage-backed securities and gambled with the value. Many banks systematically used illegal methods of recording mortgage transfers and now some of these bailout banks are using bullying tactics to force people out of their homes. The shocking part is that the banks have been pretending that it had documents that it didn't have. one of these homeowners who is also a lawyer found out that her bank actually posted forged documents. Some of these banks have been creating fake documents to cover their asses.
Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citi, US Bank, and Deutsche Bank all admitted that they farm out their mortgaging service to other companies. These companies are being accused of hiring LPS (Lending Processing Service) to run a forgery operation for the banks.
And this isn't an isolated incident. This is systematic fraud. Now, homeowners are challenging the banks to see if they have the documents to prove ownership. Last year, there were over 1 million foreclosures and we will see as many foreclosures this year. So you tell me if this is going to affect the economy.
Even the mainstream corporate media propaganda machine is breaking down. Americans beginning to question their leaderships. Support for the war in Libya is dropping. According to Gallop, only 47$ of American support military action in Libya. This is significantly less than the 79% who supported the Persian Gulf War and the 75% who initially supported the War in Iraq.
Americans Approve of Military Action Against Libya, 47% to 37%
